'Tis the Season...

For RSV. Bummer.

3 kids and up until now we'd managed to avoid RSV. There's few things worse than having a sick baby. As a mom, I feel so helpless. I want to heal her, to take away the pain, the struggle to breathe. All I can do is hold her and rock her and comfort her. So far, we're not in the hospital. Let's hope it stays that way.

So... anyone want to bring me some good books? Looks like we're going to be home bound for a little while... I know there are some releasing (or that have been recently released) that I'm dying to read. Wouldn't it be great if book stores delivered to your door? Oh wait, I guess they do. Huh. Suppose I should start doing more shopping online.

What book are you looking forward to reading the most right now?

So sorry your little girl has RSV. We went through that with my first. It was so miserable. I completely understand. Hopefully she doesn't get any worse.

Book I'm looking forward to: A Million Suns. Releasing today, actually.

I'm about to tackle Stephen Kings latest mammoth. I won't be seeing the sun for quite a while! :)

Ohhh I'm so sorry! That's rough. But you're a great mom and I'm sure you'll nurse them back to health very soon. I hope you do get some time to read! Do you have a Kindle or Nook? That's a great way to pop a book over to yourself.

Just finished Cold Sassy Tree (FABulous) and am reading both Ally Condie's Crossed and Shannon Hale's The Actor and the Housewife. Both of which I am enjoying. And they are wildly different from each other.

Another thing that would keep you busy would be watching Downton Abbey on PBS. It's wonderfully English and addicting. You can find Season 1 on the internet (also season 2, which is currently playing, if you look hard enough.) Highly recommend!
