THE NEW HOUSE!
(kind of a funny angle to hide the numbers on the garage... just to be safe.)
And as far as the writing goes, well, that's good stuff, too! #ProblemChild (aka my WIP) has finally decided to behave (for the most part), and I'm more than halfway done. Probably closer to two-thirds. Which is good, because I'm hoping to finish it before I get hit with some revisions that are looming on the very near horizon. It probably won't happen, but at least I'll be close! This book is very different from the other ones I've written in many ways, and while I'm extremely excited about it, I'm also nervous. It's always a little scary to branch out to something unfamiliar.
Also, it's snowed about a foot in the last twelve hours. Or maybe more. Between the never-ending-inversion-of-death and now the never-ending snow, I'm kind of done with winter. Good thing I get to escape to Mexico in March, just in time for my birthday (the Big 3-0!) with SHH! I can't wait!
What are you all up to these days? Has this first month of 2013 treated you well? Or are you grateful to see January go, and looking forward to change on the horizon for February?
Wishing sunshine for us all. And lots of wonderful words in our WIPs. And magical moving faeries that will surprise me and have all of my stuff moved when I wake up in the morning! Oh, wait...

Just thinking about moving makes me sick, and in this weather, too? Ugh. At least you're getting some good writing in. Good luck with the move!
Usually I'm fine with winter, but I've hated this year! It's one storm after another, yucky air, all that. Ugh!
Your new house is gorgeous! Good luck with the moving!
Moving is always hectic and more stress than you anticipate. But how exciting, too! It's going to be so great once you get in. Every time we've moved, we've always camped out as a family in the living room before our furniture arrived. Just a way to christen the place, I guess and build a great memory. But whatever you do, even if it's just to set up rooms and pick out paint, etc, it's going to be so memorable for you. Your house is beautiful, by the way! I can just imagine it in the spring when green returns. It's going to be gorgeous.
Good luck with your manuscript! :D
I'm not a fan of moving either, but after 13 or more (I've lost track) moves now, I'm pretty good at it! I hope by now you're all settled in your beautiful home and happily clacking away at your keyboard. :-)
Oh Sarah, I feel your pain. We moved 3x(for the weirdest reasons) from August to December. That was 7 people and 2000+ sqft houses to pack and unpack over and over again.
But hopefully you're settled now.
It was so fun to see you at LTUE (possibly the funnest, cheapest, and strangest con around)
I am SO over winter! Beautiful house! Love the blog.
Haha! You keep your house number a secret, huh? :D I hope that you’re enjoying your new home. How long did it take you to search for your home? The exterior looks nice and I’m sure it’s more wonderful inside it. Hmm, will you show us what the interior looks like? :)
