Rain, rain go away

Does the weather affect your mood? I actually usually enjoy a rainy, stormy day. But we have had way too few sunny, warm days this year. I want the sun.

However, this kind of weather is conducive to writing for me. I love to curl up with my laptop, some beautiful music, and write to the sound of the rain pounding on my windows.

How about you? Do you have weather you prefer when you're writing, or do you not care?

I'm a weather person. I love rain or a good soft snow storm. I love to have a cup of cocoa and an idea to pursue. With that said, I'm with you. There hasn't been enough sun recently. And I woke up to snow again. Bah.

Strangely, I prefer to write in the sunshine. I like to READ on dark, dreary days. You'd think, being a Nova Scotia girl, that I'd find the rain inspiring, and while I LOVE it, it's just not . . . well, not inspiring to me, lol.

Glad it works for you ~ you must be laying a boatload of words down with all the crummy weather we're having!

For me, it totally depends on the scene I'm writing. Sometimes weather like this is just what we need. :) Great post; glad to have found you! :)
