November is a month that everyone looks forward to and yet dreads at the same time. Nope, not because you have less than sixty days until Christmas--because it's the month of NaNoWriMo. (National Novel Writing Month)
For two years in a row, I've wanted to participate, but unfortunately both times I haven't been in a place to start a new book. Hence, this year I am participating in "NoWayMo" in which I am strong and resist joining in NaNoWriMo. No matter how much I'd love to.
I do want to wish everyone participating good luck and can't wait to hear how it goes! I will still be working on a new, fun WIP I've been playing around with off and on, and continuing to work with my agent on a few projects. I already know what I'm asking Santa for this year... if I haven't already gotten it by Christmas. *wink*
What are your plans this month? Are you joining in the madness of NaNoWriMo? Or are you working on other things?
Also, don't forget you have until Friday at midnight to enter my contest to win your choice of prizes! Click here to see the details.
Happy November everyone!

I'm with you. I've wanted to try to do it, but I'm usually in the editing mode more so than the writing mode.
So November will be a NaNoEdiMo for me.
I too am a member of the NoWayMo club. I just tremble at the thought of writing a novel in the month of November. Now if it was July I would be in in the YesYouBetMo club.
Have a great Monday.
November has always been tough for me, too, but this year I decided to go for it. I don't know if I'll make the 50K or not, but I'm sure going to give it a shot. Good luck with your WIP.
i'm happy to see you are resisting- i think i might have to too.
i have two guests coming to visit for over two weeks and i just don't see it happening with that ON TOP of my already busy schedule...
cute blog, i'm glad i found you...
and congrats on the 200+ followers, i'm your newest one! :)
Ha! your title made me snort. I was expecting the same ol NaNo I have been seeing all morning.
Wont be joining this year either, like I had planned. Just didn't work out time wise. Maybe next year!
I have never done nanowrimo, but this year I thought I'd give it whirl. Doubt I'll finish. Have a feeling another one of my WIP will call me back mid-challenge.
Hope you get the Christmas gift you want! =D
I'm on the NaNoWriMo bandwagon. I envy you your sanity!
Wink? Does this mean there MAY be something good in your future?!?!?!?!
Got your comment. :) (Unsure how to post a reply, so I'm commenting here in reply to your comment.) Anyway, it was Mockingjay. It was...very disappointing. I had such high hopes for the final chapter of The Hunger Games trilogy and was left much unhappy. :(
Oh. Well. Such is reading!
I admire your standing firm on NoWayMo! I caved to the peer pressure this year, but I think it's gonna be fun. :)
Maybe we can use all our free time to figure out the no reply mystery!
I entered last year and loved it--I finished an entire novel. I wanted to do it again this year but I'm right in the middle of a project and I really want to stick with it. So...I'll hopefully be able to finish my WIP by next month. Good luck to everyone participating!
I'm with you there. No Nanowrimo for me. Too many projects in the works :)
It's my first year, and I'm really excited! Although, it is going to be hard to beak this blogspot addiction I've developed.
I love NoWayMo!! I need some of your willpower :)
I'm skipping nano this year - I LOVE NoWayMo! Great name :) I'm working on revisions for my WIP which I really want to start querying soon, so maybe next year...
I'm doing nano - trying to finish this year. Last year I hit a wall at about 21000, but I have a better idea where I'm going with this one.
Congrats on breaking 200 followers!
